About us
There's no big company behind NovLore: just a group of young Italian writers who wanted a better tool to write with.
NovLore was born from a need we know well, because it's ours: writing a novel is a long job, and the tools we had weren't built for people writing books. Scattered notes, character sheets in one document, the plot in another, the text in yet another.
So we built the writing studio we wished we'd had: a single place where the book's structure, characters, plot and text live together — and where the writing assistant stays discreet, not an author. The pages stay yours: it steps in only when you call it, and for every need we use whichever model handles it best.
That's where the name comes from: "Novel" is the story, "lore" is the world behind it — the setting, the characters, everything a writer carries around even when they're not writing a single page. NovLore is the place where that world lives together with the text, instead of scattered across ten different files.
We're Italian, and it shows: NovLore speaks first and foremost the language of the people who write it, even though today it lets you write in 31 languages. And we're writers, and that shows too: every choice — from the typefaces to the three themes for writing at night — comes from actual use, not a marketing meeting.
NovLore is in private beta: we're refining it together with a group of real writers. If you want to be part of it too, leave your email from the homepage: you'll be among the first to know when we launch.
On behalf of the whole team, happy writing.
